Shipping policy
This Policy applies to all orders placed via CarryHome’s website and mobile app – both for our same-day delivery service and nationwide shipping
Order Processing & Cut-off Times
- Processing Time: All orders are processed (picked, packed and handed over to the courier) within 1-4 business days of placement
- Same-Day Delivery Cut-off: For orders eligible for same-day delivery, you must order before the cut-off time displayed at checkout (1 pm local time) to receive your items by 10 pm on the same day
- National Orders: Orders placed after the same-day cut-off, or outside our tri-city area, enter the standard national fulfillment pipeline
Delivery Locations & Service Levels
A. Tri-City Area (Chandigarh, Panchkula & Mohali)
- Same-Day Delivery: Orders placed by the cut-off time are delivered by 10 pm on the same calendar day.
- Next-Day Alternative: For orders received after 1pm, it will default to next-day delivery with no extra charge.
B. Nationwide Coverage
- Standard Delivery: 3–7 business days transit time, depending on pincode and courier partner availability
- Expedited Delivery: Available in select metros—2 business days upon request (additional charge applies)
Shipping Charges
- Free Delivery for orders above Rs. 500 for local and national level
Order Tracking & Notifications
- You will receive email and SMS updates at each milestone: Order Confirmed → Processing → Shipped → Out for Delivery → Delivered
- Real-time Tracking: Click the link in your “Order Shipped” message to view live courier status.
Lost, Damaged or Delayed Shipments
- If your shipment is lost or delayed beyond the promised window, please contact Customer Care within 7 days of the expected delivery date for a resolution or refund
- For damaged goods in transit, refer to our Return & Refund Policy.
Shipping & COD Policy (Partial Prepaid Orders)

For certain Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, we may request a advance payment as a confirmation fee.

This advance amount is adjusted against your final order value at the time of delivery.

If you accept the delivery, the advance is deducted from the COD balance.

If you refuse or fail to accept the order, the advance will be forfeited to cover shipping and return (RTO) costs.
International Shipping
We also ship to select international destinations.
- Processing Time: International orders are processed within 1–4 business days, similar to domestic orders.
- Delivery Time: Transit timelines vary depending on the destination country and courier partner, generally ranging from 7–21 business days.
- Shipping Charges: International shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on order weight and destination.
- Customs & Duties: Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees levied by their country. Delays caused by customs clearance are beyond our control.
- Tracking: All international orders come with end-to-end tracking details, shared via email and SMS.
