The NACHTMANN Lines series was developed as part of the Nachtmann NextGen Project, a design collaboration with the Musashino Art University in Tokyo. This collection was created by designer Siyu Wu, whose vision focused on the intersection of modern minimalism and traditional craftsmanship. The series was inspired by the simple elegance of vertical linear patterns, reflecting a rhythmic clarity found in contemporary architecture.
The N in Nachtmann
The stylized “N” in the NACHTMANN logo pays tribute to founder Joh. Michael Nachtmann and his legacy of precision craftsmanship. Its lower stroke becomes a glassmaker’s pipe—a nod to ancient Roman techniques—while the crown atop the N embodies Nachtmann's unwavering commitment to excellence in crystal glassmaking.
