FAQs
Corelle Duranano is made with three layers: 430 stainless steel, an aluminium core, and 304 stainless steel with a special finish. The base is uncoated but naturally non-stick, and the sturdy 304 steel handle makes it safe to use on induction cooktops.
Corelle™ DuraNano™ cookware uses patented nano technology to create a naturally non-stick surface without any coating. Through a high-temperature metallization and oxidation process, it forms a micropore surface that’s ultra-hydrophobic—known as the “lotus effect.” Unlike traditional pans with PTFE or Teflon, this cookware delivers a non-stick experience using advanced DuraNano™ technology, with no added chemicals.
Yes, Corelle™ DuraNano™ cookware has been tested by trusted international labs like TUV SUD and Bureau Veritas. These tests confirm that the cookware contains no PTFE or harmful coatings, making it safe for everyday, long-term use.
No, scratches won’t harm your health because the cookware has no chemical coatings. However, if the pan stops performing well, it’s a good idea to replace it for the best cooking results.
Wash the cookware, then wipe it dry inside and out before you start cooking.
Yes, you can use metal utensils, but it’s better to use wooden, silicone, or plastic ones to keep the surface looking great. Avoid sharp metal tools and don’t cut food directly inside the pan.
Absolutely. DuraNano™ cookware is oven-safe up to 250°C (480°F) and can be used for high-heat cooking like frying and roasting without damaging the surface.
If there’s stuck food, add warm water and let it simmer to loosen the residue. Then clean with dish soap. The outside can be cleaned with warm soapy water, or use baking soda or scouring powder for tougher spots.
This happens naturally from heat during cooking and doesn’t affect how the pan works. Just make sure not to leave the pan empty on the stove for too long.
