  • Linen Rest: Set each glass upright on a clean linen cloth and let it air-dry partially; this soft surface prevents scratches and helps water wick away.
  • Microfiber Polish: Once dry, use two soft microfiber cloths—one to hold the base, the other to buff the bowl—to achieve a streak-free shine.
  • Steam Boost: For an extra-brilliant sparkle, briefly hold the glass over gentle steam (e.g. above simmering water) before your final polish.
  • Handle with Care: Always cradle the bowl with your left hand and support the base with your right—never twist the stem and bowl in opposite directions, as this can stress the joint.

Jules Collection

The NACHTMANN Jules series was developed in 2018 as part of the Nachtmann NextGen Project, created by Australian design student Oliver Bryant. Jules designer Oliver Bryant came from the University of Technology in Sydney. The series was inspired by the inherent tension between strength and refinement in jet turbines. When in flight, a jet gathers and distorts the air, and this is mirrored by the way the curves of the pattern gather and refract light.

The N in Nachtmann

The stylized “N” in the NACHTMANN logo pays tribute to founder Joh. Michael Nachtmann and his legacy of precision craftsmanship. Its lower stroke becomes a glassmaker’s pipe—a nod to ancient Roman techniques—while the crown atop the N embodies Nachtmann's unwavering commitment to excellence in crystal glassmaking.

Nachtmann was heavily based on Bavarian tradition that comes from Germany

Most NACHTMANN glasses are dishwasher safe and can handle up to 1,000 washes without losing their shine. However, if the packaging says "handwash only" or doesn't mention care instructions, those glasses should be washed by hand. Always place glasses in the dishwasher with enough space between them to avoid contact and prevent damage.

Since 2015, Nachtmann has exclusively produced crystal glass—a high-quality, brilliant material made without using lead oxide as its main ingredient.
